Joining the Army and fighting in the Korean war defined my Father’s life. As a kid I remember my Dad having terrible nightmares. It shook him to the core and I could plainly see the terror in his eyes. As I grew into a teen I heard a few stories about a close friend he served with, one who didn’t make it home. My Dad wasn’t normally the type to show emotion, but the horror he had seen was too much for him to hide. He told my brother and I that he went to war so we wouldn’t have to.
My Step Dad Paul is also a Veteran. He served in the Vietnam war and came back with a Purple Heart. Far too many others gave all. Make sure to welcome him home if you see him on the job.
Signing up to serve the country, whether you go into battle or not, deserves recognition. You have not only signed your name on a line to serve the country, but to offer your very life if need be. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. A discount, though not nearly enough to show you the gratitude you deserve, is the least we can do to say thank you for your Service.
Let us know you are a current or former member of the armed forces, with Military or VA identification, at the time of your on-site estimate confirmation. We will then discount the total amount by 5%. Once again thank you for your service and God bless the U.S.A.
