Ode to Concrete
Concrete’s a wonderful product I’d say
It covers the dirt where your children can play
Basketball, bicycles, skates and skateboards
It shapes a young life and does so much more
A path free from mud when the rain comes along
A product that holds up for 30 years strong
Cars and trucks will not sink in the soil
A place you can park while changing your oil
Run, jog or walk til you run out of breath
Sweep it and blow it and hose it til death…
Coffins are housed in a strong concrete vault
If you don’t go with concrete
…..it’s YOUR own Asphalt!
